Welcome to Dara Duong website & Happy Holidays !!!
Hello and welcome to the "Dara Duong" web site. This is my official web page. I’m so glad that my site can provide some useful information and resources for your own use. My purpose for creating this site is to: - Keep everyone including friends, relatives and community partners connected;
- Share news and information about the Khmer Rouge Tribunal;
- Provide useful links and contacts for Cambodian community, including resource information of the Cambodian government ministries;
- Keep telling stories and raising awareness about the killing fields, and arts and culture of Cambodia through exchange of photographs and messages ;
- Keep everyone aware of good things that we all can do to help others in need in our community.
I believe that we all can do a little or a lot good things for other in difficult situation. We don’t have to be rich or famous. We can do it any time when we put our heart on it. It’s true that one KFC meal can be a full year of school supplies for one kid in Cambodia!
Currently, I am supporting two non-profit organizations in Cambodia, http://www.ccpcr.org and http://www.ruralareakids.com . Let me know if you are interested to do or planning something for the sake of children in Cambodia. To learn more about the Cambodian Cultural Museum and Killing Fields Memorial online please visit www.killingfieldsmuseum.org .
